Brendan Flynn
Brendan Flynn serves as the Truman Project's Regional Field Director for Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. In this capacity, he recruits and organizes veterans for Operation FREE -- a coalition of national security and veterans organizations organized in order to combat America's over-reliance on oil and the national security effects of climate change.
Most recently, Brendan served on the staff of Congressman Patrick J. Murphy (PA-08), the first Iraq war veteran in Congress. He served as the Military and Veterans Affairs Director in Congressman Murphy's Bristol, PA district office, and later became a member of the Congressman's Washington, DC legislative staff. Prior to this, he was a field organizer with the Patrick Murphy for Congress campaign. He is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy, and is a native of Meadville, PA.
