Matt Oberhoffner is the Truman Project's Deputy Advocacy Director. He spends most of his time managing Truman's ongoing advocacy campaign, Operation FREE, a coalition of national security and veterans groups organized by the Truman Project in order to combat America's over-reliance on oil and the national security effects of climate change.

Matt previously served as senior staff for the Mike Signer for Lt. Governor campaign in Virginia. He has also worked as a Canvass Director for Jeanne Shaheen's successful US Senate campaign, and later became her Regional Field Director for the New Hampshire Seacoast.  Prior to this, he was a public relations and communications consultant. He graduated with honors from the University of London with a Masters degree in Latin American Studies.
