Bishop Garrison works with Veterans Affairs as the Special Assistant and White House Liaison. Bishop M. Garrison, Jr. originally hails from Lexington, SC. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point graduating in 2002. He served two one-year long tours in Iraq with the U.S. Army's 3rd Army Calvary Regiment, also known as the "Brave Rifles," and is the recipient of two Bronze Stars, a Meritorious Service Medal, and a Combat Action Badge. After his time in the Army he attended and graduated from the William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, VA. He served in the Obama-Biden reelection campaign as the Director of Constituency Outreach and the Director of Veterans Outreach for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Currently, he resides in Arlington, VA and in his spare time enjoys reading, creative writing, exercising, playing sports, and watching football.
