Brian Carroll is an Information Technology leader with over ten years of experience in resource, program, and project management within the telecommunications, government, and defense industries. Brian is a goal-oriented team player skilled in systems analysis, network engineering, and information systems security. He has an accomplished record of bridging business and technology goals to deliver complex enterprise technology solutions. Brian has a proven ability to work with both technical and executive level staff, contributing as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert. Brian works for Global Cloud Xchange where he provides integrated technology solutions and managed services for Fortune 500 companies and multinational organizations. From 2004 to 2010, Brian served in the U.S. Army as Senior Information Systems Analyst with 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne). From 2010 to 2015, he served in the Colorado Army National Guard as Senior Information Technology Specialist with 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Brian currently serves in the Colorado Army National Guard as Information Technology Team Chief with 147th Brigade Support Battalion. He served three combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. In 2011 Brian was a candidate for Colorado State House District 28. Brian attended the University of Denver and studied international relations. He is a member of the Internet Society, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Colorado Technology Association, and the U.S. Army Signal Corps Regimental Association. Brian also serves as interim chair of the Veterans and Military Council for the Colorado Democratic Party. Brian lives and works in Denver, Colorado.
