Dave Solimini: Obama, Romney jobs efforts target veterans

With increasingly large numbers of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans unemployed, President Barack Obama and Republican rival Mitt Romney are aggressively courting their votes, in part, with competing plans for putting them to work.
The way to win over veterans, according to officials from both presidential campaigns, is to focus on jobs.
“No one who fights for this country should ever have to fight for a job when they come home,” Obama declared in a speech last week in Minnesota
