Truman Project Releases 2012 Democratic National Convention Schedule of Events

Washington, DC – The Truman National Security Project today released its schedule of events in Charlotte during the 2012 Democratic National Convention.  Throughout the week of September 3rd, the national security leadership institute will host a community happy hour, a young professional get-together, a Salute to Service Breakfast with Madeline Albright, an innovation in foreign policy panel and our signature training sessions on communications and military values.

The full schedule is listed below.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

4:00-6:00 pm Truman Community Happy Hour
The Liberty, 1812 South Blvd.

A chance for the Truman community to come together in an informal setting and see who is at the convention.
Free to members of the Truman community, Board Members, and supporters.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

2:30-4:00 pm  Truman Signature Trainings: Military 101: Connecting with Veterans and Military Families

Truman trainers will give our signature Military 101 training and guidance on how to outreach to and connect with veterans and military families

Truman will host a series of TED-style talks on the cutting edge of national security, featuring Truman Members and Senior Advisors.  Hosted by Start Up Rock On.  Speakers will include:
