Erica Jeffries has been a Defense Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton for the past 5 years. She holds a Bachelors of Science in International Relations from the United States Military Academy and a Masters of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Previously, Jeffries was an aviation officer in the US Army. She piloted UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and served as the Assistant Secretary of the General Staff at the Corps level until 2003. Currently, Jeffries is working in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. She is responsible for writing policy for the U.S. Armed Forces and provides recommendations for the programmatic budget cycle for the Department of Defense.
