Michael Edwards

Michael Edwards serves as a civilian at Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center as the Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection Lead for the Navy Sea-Based X-Band Radar, a component of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.  He also serves on the bench of the Bicknell City Court as Indiana's youngest judge.  He also maintains a solo law practice where he represents farms, small businesses and non-profit organizations.

Prior to graduating cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, Michael served for 6 years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, including tours in Haiti, the Philippines, Korea, and Japan as an infantry battalion staff officer.  He also served at Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, in Arlington, Virginia.  He was twice awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.  He is a 2001 graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, where he majored in English.

Michael lives in Monroe City, Indiana, with his wife and four children.
