Tyson Belanger

Tyson Belanger studies international relations as a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University.  His dissertation investigates how democracies use positive incentive strategies to win wars. Before attending Harvard, Tyson served as a Marine infantry officer for six years and deployed overseas five times, three times to Iraq.  Tyson earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University, where he served as student body president. Tyson enjoys learning by traveling. In this spirit, he has visited 50 U.S.states, 2 U.S.territories, and 81 countries.
