Uma Amuluru
Uma M. Amuluru is a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She served as a law clerk to Judge Ann Claire Williams on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Judge Joan B. Gottschall in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She previously interned for the Kings County District Attorney's Office, where she worked with local prosecutors on felony and misdemeanor cases. She has also been an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where she represented various corporate clients in litigation as well as a female inmate who sued the State of NY for failing to protect her from rape by a prison guard. Amuluru holds a JD from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Duke University.
