Truman Welcomes Impact Fellow David Lindstrom

The Truman National Security Project is thrilled to welcome David Lindstrom, a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting with more than a decade of experience driving solutions-oriented strategies in the public, corporate, and nonprofit spheres, as an Impact Fellow.

Truman members champion the diversity underpinning our national security, and their work advances inclusion and prosperity domestically and around the world. In his Impact Fellow role, Lindstrom will develop project-management frameworks to help Truman members execute their ideas and make a difference together. This year, Lindstrom was instrumental in the genesis of the Truman Center for National Policy’s Task Force report on transforming the State Department.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dave to the Truman team,” said Jenna Ben-Yehuda, Truman’s President and CEO. “His extensive project management expertise will accelerate and broaden Truman’s capacity to deliver timely, innovative, and principled policy solutions to complex national security challenges.”

Over the course of his career, Lindstrom has leveraged the knowledge and expertise he accumulated in the private sector to help government and higher education institutions adopt new practices and solutions to improve the way they engage with citizens and employees. As a first-generation American, Lindstrom is passionate about developing solutions that meet the unique needs of the communities his clients serve.

“I am honored and humbled to be welcomed into the ranks of this prestigious organization, and am thrilled for this opportunity to help channel the passion and dedication of its members to deliver even greater impacts across the United States,” said Lindstrom. “By applying tailored project management concepts and a focus on continuous improvement, my hope is for this program to become a foundational element of Truman membership.”

Prior to his time at Deloitte, Lindstrom worked at a small marketing firm, where his passion for understanding customer needs first sprouted. He is an avid photographer in his spare time.
