On Monday, May 23rd, Joel Davidow (TruCO ‘09) and The Truman Project’s Colorado Chapter organized a panel discussion on Afghan Resettlement to Colorado. Anna Hanel of the African Community Center moderated the discussion, which featured panelists Congressman Jason Crow, Colorado State Representative Iman Jodeh, Broomfield Councilmember Heidi Henkel, and Jaime Koehler Blanchard of Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains. The panelists weighed in on how Congress and members of the community can step up to assist refugees resettling in Colorado and throughout the country.
